| Actual dish sizes comes in .74 meter .98 meter and 1.2 meter (measured in square meters). The HN7700S satellite modem requires at least the 1.2 meter dish with a 2 watt radio transmitter on the dish. The dish size and wattage of the transmitter increases signal strength for sever weather use. A larger dish also allows service in fringe locations such as Canada, Mexico and Central America.
